• London Eye: Start your trip by taking a spin on the London Eye while enjoying a spectacular view of the entire city. It is the tallest Ferris wheel in Europe measuring 443 ft with a diameter of 394 ft.
• Buckingham Palace: Since Queen Victoria came into power, Buckingham Palace is the London residence of the Royal Family. Built in 1837, it is one of the most popular attractions in the city. While visiting Buckingham Palace, you should not miss the Changing of the Guard ceremony which is a precision marching with musical escort and is an absolute treat to the eyes.
• Windsor Castle: Windsor Castle is a magnificent fortress and a royal home, that dates back to more than 900 years. It is the largest and the oldest occupied castle in the world which is still a working palace even today. The queen uses the castle as a private home to spend weekends and also as an official Royal residence wherein she undertakes specific regular duties. Visitors are allowed to visit the beautiful state apartments adorned with some hand-picked works of art, St. George's Chapel and Queen Mary's Doll's House.
• Big Ben: An epitome of Gothic architecture, Big Ben is the nickname for the Great Bell. It is located at the Palace of Westminster and is also referred as the clock tower. The tower stands 315 feet high with dial of the clock 23 feet in diameter and is recognised as an essential British culture icon across the globe.
• Westminster Abbey: Westminster Abbey is a stunning blend of architectural styles and an excellent example of Early English Gothic design style. Known as a ‘royal peculiar’, it is the place where the greatest of the country, are entombed. This 700-year-old building welcomes numerous visitors every year who wish to experience British history. • Tower Bridge: Tower Bridge is among the most famous landmarks of the city, featured in numerous Bollywood movies. Equipped with revolutionary steam-driven bascule mechanism to raise the roadway for the oncoming ships to pass through, Tower Bridge is an architectural marvel in itself. • Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square: Your trip to London is incomplete without visiting Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square. Built in the honour of Lord Horatio Nelson’s victory over the French, Trafalgar Square features Nelson’s column, a 56-meter granite monument overlooking the square’s fountain. Whereas,  Piccadilly Circus is famous for marking the intersection of the city’s several busy streets, including Piccadilly Street, Regent Street, Covent Street, Shaftsbury Avenue, Haymarket, and overlooking this busy traffic is the famous sculpture – the winged Eros, balanced on one foot.
• Museums in London: London boasts about 170 amazing museums that are worth visiting. Start by visiting the British Museum, one of the world’s most beautiful, oldest and country’s largest museums. It is famous for its vast Roman, Egyptian, Greek, European, Middle Eastern and Etruscan galleries among others. Next on your list should be National Gallery featuring around 2300 European masterpieces including the works of great artists such as Van Gogh, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Titian and Renoir. The Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) is another must-visit museum and considered among the most diverse ones in the world.
